Now, a bit about me 🙂
I’m Cheryl, a freelance graphic designer, mom to 2 wonderful girls, and obsessive cross stitcher! I’ve been stitching since I was a kid, and started designing patterns in 2008 when I couldn’t find anything bright, bold, fun, and modern to stitch!

There is something so amazing about cross stitching and seeing a pattern come to life as you work. It’s like painting with cloth and thread. It’s calming, meditative, and a great stress-reliever. I love the fine details of making each little “x”,  watching as floss colors combine into a beautiful palette, and adding a touch of backstitch to make the whole design come together at the end.

Cross stitching is a fantastic hobby – and I hope you are inspired to try it yourself!

And please remember- I’m always happy to help if you have any questions about cross stitching or the patterns you find here.
Please contact me with your comments, questions, and ideas!

Happy Stitching!

  1. So happy to have found your blog and your Etsy shop! Question: if I were to lead a workshop to teach children to cross-stitch, do you have any suggestions for easy beginner projects/patterns? Thank you!

  2. Hi Cheryl,
I was searching for a nice, not-too-cutesy pattern to stitch for my mom for Mother’s Day. As a relatively new stitcher, came across yours and will let you know how it goes. Thanks so much for making it available for all! 🙂
    Thanks, Shannon
